Well instead of fixing the major potholes on 13th St the city has decided to put "Reduce Speed" signage lol.  
Guess they are tired of sending crews out with sand to fix the craters now.

Did you report it? You can report potholes online or through the phone. Anytime I have done this, they’ve fixed it within a couple days. Obviously this time of year is hard on roads.

Well its kind of hard to fix that big of a pothole in the winter with the conditions we`ve had. Actually that's not even a pothole. The city dug up that section to repair a watermain break earlier in the winter. The test will be how long it takes the city to fix it once it gets nice.

Good luck with that , there are dug up and filled holes all across the city going on 2 years .

I’m sure they’ll start on filling in again once the weather gets better. My understanding dryer roads are better, you just waste everything when wet. It doesn’t compact has well. It’s seems that when potholes are filled seem to be pretty good till the next snow or rain. Unfortunately it’s temporary. I’ve noticed the city workers, they do pretty good work with filling in compared to other places I’ve lived. Some places have resorted back to gravel roads because of the costs. So be grateful.

I'm not sure where you have lived and what city supposably resort back to gravel roads within city limits i call bs on that . I have not seen any city worker out filling potholes i did see the province out doing some . I don't doubt that pothole filling in this conditions is effective but to let them grow to big craters that can seriously damage a vehicle or not properly fixing watermain digs in month/years is a completely different story

Having to navigate a little bit more this year to avoid the usual areas that I find to be problematic, but I think this was a petucularly bad season for elements that took a beating to the roads. Lots of frost boils to break the roads this year..

You're completely right! And slowing down is a joke when the holes are so deep! I drive careful but those holes are killing my 'new to me' little car. Someone please tell me where my taxes are going? It's embarrassing for our once beautiful city to be turning into such a dump.

I have lived in 3 different countries and visited dozens more….. roads in Brandon are a JOKE!!! For the amount of money people pay in taxes (which is INSANITY), the roads should NOT be like this…I was SHOCKED when I started driving here…

Absolutely ridiculous how slow it all goes. Council and city managers are too busy filling their own pockets with tax money instead of fixing problems.
