Last Thursday, per our normal communications procedure, we informed the 911 Courtesy Notification Group and posted on the Koch Fertilizer Canada Facebook page that the plant would be experiencing elevated noise in connection with maintenance and starting up equipment.
We identified additional mechanical work on equipment, which is underway and has extended the process of starting this equipment longer than normal. As we complete this mechanical work, the safety of our employees and our community is our top priority. We are working to reduce the duration, while maintaining that focus on safety. Our team is working 24/7 and is expected to complete the work in the next couple days.
