Its been my experience that tree work, even at its longest, only takes a day to complete while other types of maintenance can take days or weeks to complete.

And yes, they are likely to prioritize one big job over multiple small jobs to keep their own paychecks coming.

You will likely have more success in the "off season".

We have noticed during our time living in Manitoba that it is particularly hard to get a lot of jobs done here. It seems that there is a huge shortage of skilled qualified tradespeople in many trades here . Those that are skilled and professional seem to be very busy and usually booking several months or years even in advance.
Quite often smaller or undesirable maintenance jobs are not taken on , cherry picking the easiest and most profitable. It’s hard to blame them really but it does make it difficult for consumers wanting to get things fixed.

I would try MZ Royal construction, We had him do some replacement work in our backyard. Can Not recommend him enough! Our site was clean (no junk or nails) and ready to enjoy. He comes and sees the sight and talks to you about scope of work. His price for quality of work is outstanding. MZ Royal Construction is the way to go!

I have lived in Manitoba my entire life.The best Contractors have always been able to pick and chose their clients. Some clients, and jobs, are just not worth the hassle.....

Yard Maintenance, tree trimming, fencework, eavestrough cleaning, pool maintenance, weeding, fertilizing, seeding, planting, landscaping.

Some are busier than others depending on what you're in the market for. Maybe you can say what you need and folks might have some good suggestions.

We are a small business and always get back to every single inquiry we get. This is something that drives me crazy with other businesses. I am currently trying to get a product/service for our business at a place we have used before. I have emailed twice now and nothing. It’s an email I have talked to someone on previously. I personally like to have everything in writing so if there is a mistake I know if it was my doing or not. I guess I will have to try calling next week
