Winter Fair

Does anyone know if you can bring your own snacks/food/drinks into the Fair this year? Are backpacks allowed? We are taking the kids for the first time, so it’s nice to be prepared. I can’t seem to find any information on the website about this. Thanks!

Yes, you could bring your own items in. We went Tuesday and had our diaper bag and such with no problems.

Fair food is great but, if you’re taking a family, be prepared to spend a small fortune!!
We went on Wednesday and took all of our own food and drinks. Just make sure you have a bag to keep all of it in as this is a requirement of the petting zoo. All food and drink must be put away.

soup kettle

Does anyone remember the soup kettle I think it was on Rosser Ave. Great place to eat lunch. What business is there now. Also a place called the golden perigee? Was it on princess avenue? What is there now ?

I believe the old Soup Kettle was actually the Crock Pot Restaurant and is now Double Happiness Chinese Food Restaurant. I remember the Golden Perogy but don't remember where they were!

The Skin Clinic on Rosser is where the Soup Kettle once was.
The Dock on Princess Ave is where The Golden Perogy used to be.
