I had heard there was a fairly serious accident at the corner of Braecrest Drive and 18th STREET. I have read nothing about that either in the paper or social media and just wondering if anyone knew anything more about that. This intersection has become very dangerous.

Heard about it yesterday on multiple social media. Not sure of any outcomes. Hope everyone is ok.  
It is people just not paying attention or being jerks. I drive through that intersection 4 times a day, sometimes more, 5 days a week. I can't tell you the number of times someone has cut me off racing ahead of me before the merge lane cuts off because they haven't timed it correctly or won't wait until it is safe. Many times I have been cut off with miles of empty road behind me.  
Don't get me wrong this happens on many roadways in Brandon but I see this one all the time.  
It also amazed me how inconsiderate or unaware people are at the corner of 18th and #1. It is a weird corner with a 3 way stop but people cutting people off, not paying attention, or unaware of people coming north across the #1. Going south at the same intersection people in the left turn lane going straight...the list goes on and on. Driving for the new job has certainly been eye opening.
