Definitely the gophers.

I would think that is City property. The grass is cut by the Corral Centre but I wouldn't think their responsibility would extend to the gophers. It is even worse along Kirkcaldy walkway and throughout the Discovery Centre. Last year, they had Poulin Exterminators working on it but they weren't successful and it looks like this year, they have given up. Worse yet, the Discovery Centre has stopped cutting the grass in the parking field area and all the way to the east entrance at Paterson Cres. The weeds are 3 feet high. Seems like they are more interested in saving money than taking care of Brandon's number one green space. Embarrassing when you take people from out of town there.

The City of Brandon is definitely into supplying less services for more taxes this year.

I counted 162 gophers along the Discovery Center pathways last week .Definitely a big problem.

There is no question that the Discovery Centre isn't taking care of the grounds as good as they did a few years ago. The weeds at the Paterson Cres. entrance are now over 4 feet tall.
