Alternative for shipping parcels

Anyone know best reasonably priced way to ship out parcels now that CP going on full strike , need to ship items “needed” to family member at university.

Its not always the cheapest option but Purolator has seemed to be the most reliable shipping option for me.

Not sure about the cost but Dragonfly has the best customer service and tracking system I have experienced in shipping.

Purolator seems a little high priced but very efficient.

Will check out Dragonfly and UPS rates.

Purolator, which is majority-owned by Canada Post, says it is fully operational and is not cancelling any deliveries. However, it will not process any Canada Post-labelled shipments or freight during the course of the strike.

This morning saw CP Striking workers blocking exit for the purolator truck trying to leave.

Effectively stopping or at least delaying a shipment.

Not their union so preventing those employees from doing their job.

I had a package via UPS and a package via Purolator both show up today uninterrupted. But multiple Canada Post parcels that were supposed to arrive mid-last week are now delayed until October according to the tracking information. It would seem whatever was going on has not interrupted UPS or Purolator service for me.

they didn't stop anyone - they were picketing there but the trucks didn't stop - they were only there for an hour or so

as the truck was waiting to leave at opening: fence on either side

a bunch of strikers right in front of driveway

i would say that is delaying the truck

so unless you were there seeing that, you don't know.

couldn't take picture as I was driving safely without being attached to my phone.

Purolator, UPS, Canpar, DHL Express, Sendle, and other private couriers are not affected by the Canada Post strike.

also others like E&C courier and freight

probably others I don't know about
