How much fundraising is too much?

Just wondering how other parents are feeling about all of the recent fundraising. School sends home 2 in one week, after school clubs send home a fundraiser, and then sports teams. I am just wondering how we are expected to continually ask the same family, friends and neighbors to keep contributing? Don't get me wrong, I realize fundraising is important, it just does feel a bit overwhelming, especially when your child is only in kindergarten and can't do it themselves? Other parents, what are your thoughts or suggestions?
