I am writing this cause I cant believe this city. I have some friends who had applied with Mb housing for a place. They had been evicted from their previous place because of some misfortune that had put them a bit behind in rent. They moved in with family and filled out a application for mb housing. They were told there application would be processed because housing knew they were staying with people who already live in housing and the rules are you can only stay there for 2 weeks. On Friday housing contacting my friends and told them that on monday they would have to leave the friends home because there two week stay was over. On tuesday housing calls them and tells them that there application was stopped because they still owe rent to a previous landlord.(which payment arrangements have been made and started)So my friend asks housing what they are suppose to do, they have no where to live, and they have 2 kids. Housing tells them sleep in your van!....NOW WHAT WOULD YOU DO???
