Cost to Rent.

Does anyone realize the cost to rent a house or apartment? I'm a single working parent of 3 and I have to move out of the house I'm renting at the end of the month. I have been trying to find someplace that is affordable. I cannot afford to pay rent of $1000.00+. I want to know how people are affording to pay that kind of money? What's happening to the people that can't afford the sky high rent prices? Can anyone give me leads to affordable housing in Brandon.
