I nealrly got stuck in it from the other way-- but after a accident around 4:45 on Thee thompson bridge on 18th(small one_- traffic was bakeb to the Top of the bride with others crawling all the way back to Lorne/louise. It was on the North bound lane. One police truck snuck between us south bounders on the bridge. THen just away up all the emergenve vehicles were using the west side of the road( going agaist the traffic ) to reach the scene. One they hit that bridge traffic both directions both side would be blocked for a while. I know one of the vehicles was being pushed off by bystanders. I hope no one was hurt. This is the third collission of this type in three week tha I have seen. The last one was on 18th street proper where at least some traffic can get around.  
 
The one thing that caught my eye though is the fire trucks/ rescue units going down the wrong side of the road. Some people kept driving as far to the right as they could. They should have stopped until those units got bye!
