I haven't been able to attend this event yet but I'm excited to this year. There is a very similar event held each summer in Saskatoon.  
 
The one thing I question is why this event is held during the winter? In summer there is the option for outdoor venues (and much larger crowds) and since this city is a little short on venues as it is, what is the rationale for the winter time-slot?  
 
Even though it's in winter I'm really excited to see and experience the culture of Brandon, which is constantly changing.
