Fresh homemade bread: good idea?

I am wondering if there is a need for fresh homemade bread in this town. I would be interested in getting some feedback on this issue. I can make 2# loaves or mini loaves that would have no preservatives, just basic ingredients. With that being said they would be different from store bought by way of flavours that I can create in my kitchen.
