Anyone have an idea

I am a 28 year old happily married mom who does nothing but go to work come home take care of her kids, walk on her treadmill and go to bed. Most of my friends have moved out of town and I am left feeling very lonely. Does anyone have any idea's on some interesting ways to meet some new people that doesn't involve the bar. I am not the type of person who would just walk up to someone and start talking. I am shy. But I really need to get out there and meet some people. Please before I lose my mind, help...
