Ok, I have to get this out! I was going to put a post in a different discussion, but I decided to start my own and then people can come and vent in here about freeloaders that they know as well.  
I don't know how this happend, but here's the story. I know of a person who moved here to Brandon, doesn't have a job and is getting social assistance/welfare. She moved here from Africa and isn't working! How is that possible? Why doesn't the government of Canada make sure that people that move here can prove that they can support themselves before they come?? Her excuse for the last 9 months was that she didn't have her "work papers". Well then, why isn't your butt in Africa? Why was she allowed to come here? Anyways, she now has her work papers, has had them for 2 months or more and still doesn't have a job!! She just sits on her butt and collects welfare and is a burden to society! There are so many jobs out there, there is no excuse for being unemployed. I even got applications for her 2 months ago and she's too lazy to take them back! Maybe she's "too good" to work at KFC or McD's, but she's not too good to sit and take money from the government. She should be send back to Africa until she gets her act together, or at the least the government should quit paying her to be a freeloader. She also had the nerve to use the money she got from the government to take a trip with her friend, then hit up the local food banks for food!!! My patience are wearing thin, and pretty soon I'm going to snap and tell her to get off her *** and get a job!  
Why is this allowed to happen? There are enough people that are from here that need assistance for good reasons, we don't need to get them from other countries! I thought the government was a little more stringent about who they let come her to live, but I guess I was wrong. I'm pretty sure if I wanted to go to another country, they wouldn't let me go on welfare when I got there!
