Do no landlords have any morals anymore, or they all just looking for a get rich quick plan to cover their own debt. I've never been so disgusted about anything til I recently looked up what some people are asking for just a 1 or 2 bedroom suite/apt or to just rent out 1 room. I've lived in Brandon the last 5 years or so and have only ever payed just over half of what most landlords are asking now.  
 
Im currently sharing a house with a couple friends and still pay less than what some people are asking for just a single room. Even my last apt, which was less than a year ago, was only 515 for a 2 bedroom apt. My previous couple apts before that were still less than 600 for a 2 bedroom place. All a decent size. 2 of which had air conditioning.  
 
Last time I checked the cost of gas even went down 40 cents over the last half year or so. So is really a need to be asking up to 1000 dollars just for a 2 bedroom place. A little sick if you ask me. This is Brandon, Manitoba, not Malibu.
