Speeding ticket and windows too dark??

So I've recently got my first speeding ticket for going 65 in a 50 zone, and the grand total: $220. Is that fair? I wasn't going THAT fast...
But here's what really irked me: he had the nerve to tell me my windows were tinted too dark. The thing is when I bought my car they were like that! Like hell I'm gonna pay to get them changed! I don't understand why it's my car that's windows are too dark. I see plenty of people who have done it on purpose.
I think Mr. Police man should take the vehicle manufacturer to court for producing cars with windows that are tinted to dark. GIVE ME A BREAK.
So any advice on what I can do in this situation?
