1st Street North speed limit reduction

Just a heads up...
Per the note below from BPS, the speed limit from Kirkaldy all the way to The Trans Canada has been reduced to 50 km/hour in lieu of construction. The first few trips along that stretch will probably feel a lot slower, but a necessary temporary change considering what's going on right next to traffic.

Brandon Police Service would like to make the motoring public aware that the speed limit has been decreased along First Street North, due to the construction in the area. The speed limit has been reduced to 50 kilometers an hour, all the way from Kirkcaldy Drive to #1 Highway, with the appropriate signage. Police Service Traffic members will begin enforcing the new reduced limit today, with a zero tolerance policy. Motorists are also reminded that anyone caught speeding in a construction zone faces an increase in fine costs.
