The old one I mean, just give everyone you talk to that reminder. Traffic is frequently backed all the way up from Kirkaldy to the first bridge after Rosser. I know, to someone who doesn't normally drive up 18th it could be a surprise to get over that sharp peak and have a car literally parked in front of you.  
 
This afternoon we were headed southbound on 18th, on the way up the bridge when, as a passenger I got to crane my neck and watch a 4 car collision as we passed. First one like that I've seen aside from youtube videos. The funny thing was that the first car that was rear ended didn't look to have a lick of damage because it was an older beast, but those new cars sure crumple up from even just a fender bender. They crunch up like a soda can.  
 
So, SLOW DOWN ON 18th STREET! And boys and girls, never follow too close. Hey, that nagging might save you a costly deductible.
