MTS TV launched in Brandon

It's been no secret to anyone following eBrandon threads in recent months that MTS has been preparing to launch television service in Brandon.
Per the billboard image in the right-hand column, it is now available (or at least my source tells me it's available Friday).
Regardless of who one wants for their TV, the consumer is going to benefit by what's going to no doubt be a very competitive environment. They're advertising a (bundled) starting price of $24.99 for the first 6 months including 11 theme packages. After that, the price goes up to something that's IMO comparable to what you get from other options. Brandon pricing isn't on their site just yet, but from what I've seen looks to be comparable to Portage (

Will add that Brandon link to this post when available).
It's worth noting that CKX is among the channels offered.
In past telephone and internet comparison discussions, things have been known to get heated. I ask that you try your best to qualify numbers used in your opinions with links so that we can try our best to keep this thread as factual as possible. If there is something that's incorrect, please feel free to correct it.
At the same time, if you have a bias towards one service provider or another, it would be appreciated if that were mentioned.
