About cyclists

I am so sick and tired of drivers blaming cyclist for “their inattention”. People and yes that includes those on bikes do not “appear out of nowhere” you’re just NOT LOOKING.
If traffic is approaching in the direction of which you want to proceed, after first checking for oncoming, seeing same and waiting for the vehicles to pass before entering the intersection, now this may surprise some of you but….you LOOK AGAIN!!!!!! You don’t just assume when say those two cars you noticed have passed and you can hurry on in your real busy world. Things may have changed, remember when you took your drivers test well those rules still apply. I pi**es me off , always harping about bikes having no right on a sidewalk, well cars have no right ON the stop line, oh but that’s ok, bikes can’t roll thru a 4- way stop but cars do it all the time and that’s ok too, cars run a yellow but if you’re on a bike OMG!!! Surprise, surprise bike paths bi-sect intersections I have a perfect right to ride across. If I am a the same as a car why do I have to stop at intersections that don’t require a car to stop, like everywhere a bike trail intersects a road for instance all down 34th street? If I am a car why can’t I ride in any traffic lane I choose? Cyclist a forced to ride on sidewalks mainly because stupid car drivers don’t know the rules of the road they so gleefully shove down a cyclist throat. If you would drive your vehicle have as well as you expect me to ride my bike we’d both be better off. And speaking of off, get off my back!!!!!!!!!!! Quit cutting me off at corners, quit putting my life at risk because I have to navigate around cars so as not to be hit by someone opening they’re car door because “I appeared out of nowhere”, I either get it by the door or the traffic not allowing for my NECESSARY loop around.Quit blaming me for your “lack of driving skills”!
