BSD sends home info on religious diversity

From the Winnipeg Free Press link below,
Grade 5 students in the Brandon School Division will be receiving "a two-page information bulletin on local religious beliefs as diverse as Christianity, Daoism, Islam, and atheism."
From the article:
"The pamphlet will accompany the letter that goes home each year notifying Grade 5 parents they can choose whether their child is given a Gideon Bible at school."
What are your thoughts on this as a way of handling the debate centred around Gideon Bibles being distributed in Bdn schools?
