Is there any Responsibility and Morality left out there??

I've been noticing a curious thing, and I'm wondering what others think about this ...
On Facebook I've encountered amongst my children's network an ever increasing number of users who are clearly under the required age of 13 that is posted in the Terms of Use criteria on the site ...
Driving around town I've noticed what appears to be an increase in the number of people who are blowing RED (not amber - RED) lights at intersections - 18th and Park is one where it happens so often then if I am at the advance green left turn, I look BOTH ways before I go - and 7 times out of 10, there is some clown blowing the light ...
Here on ebrandon we've had people defend the illegal scalping of tickets, people discussing speeding violations and amongst those who pointed out a law was broken, there was an undercurrent of "put it to the man" postings that see nothing wrong with excessive speeding on our highways ... and the whole thread on "niceness" leaves me wondering about the state of our community ...
SO, I have to wonder - is it me, or is there an erosion of personal responsibility and respect for others happening that is leading to a complete evaporation of what one could loosely call morality???
As a parent, I've raised my children to be respectful, polite, to wait their turn, and so on ... only to find over and over and over, they get pushed out of the way, stepped on and over, and get left out because the RUDE seems to prevail ... and when we talk about it, it is becoming harder and harder to find examples to support my belief in being respectful, responsible and for lack of a better word moral ...
I'm curious what others are experiencing and what their thoughts are on this ...
