The article in the Brandon Sun, blew me away. Our own City Manager has property going up for tax sale because his taxes are UNPAID. Does anyone else find this behaviour outrageous. If all property owners managed their finances the way our city manager does, I think it would be pretty hard to run a city, having no one pay their property taxes would mean no money to run the city. I guess my question would be, "If someone cannot manage their own finances any better than that on his income, should we be trusting him to manage the City of Brandon?" I find it a terrible example he is setting for us as well as a very disrespectful thing he is doing. I would say border line taking advantage of his position with the City.
