Brandon Chamber of Commerce 127th Annual Dinner

So the Chamber of Commerce held thier 127th Annual Dinner last night. I guess this is thier BIG event of the year! I heard from a very reliable source that the band that entertained at this event was brought in from Winnipeg.
Howcome would the people who say that they are promoting business in Brandon and are about keeping money in Brandon hire a band from Winnipeg when there are plenty of bands here in Brandon that are capable of playing at an event like this.
Way to go! Send the money down the road to Winnipeg....
