History of a residence

I need history of a residence in the city. Not at liberty to give address as its not my house. Have witnessed paranormal activity personally and there is a long history of activity witnessed by other people throughout the years. Is there a way to find out previous owners pre 1969 and bit of history of previous residents. Thanks for your help
