What is a reasonable price to pay at a restaurant?

Given the recent few restaurant threads I just wanted to ask the public
what do you consider a 'fair' price to pay at a restaurant
For lunch and breakfast for one Id say 15-20$
Dinner... well this can vary but I find the quality meals are usually around 25$-35$ a plate (ive yet to find a steak worth eating for less than 23$)
This is just me, but what do you all think?
