Counterfeit $100 bills found in circulation in Brandon

I'll be attending a media gathering this afternoon to get a few more details.

On 11 May 2010 at approximately 2:30 pm police apprehended three adult females in a vehicle in the 1500 blk of 18th Street, after receiving several complaints from Brandon businesses of females passing counterfeit $100.00 bills. The female suspects, all from Winnipeg, were found to be in possession of a large quantity of items purchased with the counterfeit money. The suspects are to appear in Provincial Court today. Police are investigating at least 13 complaints of counterfeit $100.00 bills and are reminding Brandon business owners to check any $100.00 bills received over the last few days and if they locate any suspected counterfeit $100.00 bills, please contact the Brandon Police Service.
