Asprin vs. Tylenol

My friend and I were debating which is not OK to give to children! Wasn't it said that asprin should not be given due to heart problems and possible epileptic seizures?? Tylenol (acetometaphine) and Advil(iebuprophen) are ok though right?? Motrin?? What are your thoughts or facts??
