Notice from Police re illegal dumping of waste

Just thought I'd pass this note along from this morning's BPS releases about what seems to be a growing problem in the city...

Brandon Police Service would like to remind the public that the dumping of refuse in any location other than the City Dump is strictly prohibited. Recent problems have been brought to the attention of City Councilors and have prompted this warning. Violators can face a large fine under the City By-law. Anyone with information on the illegal dumping of waste is encouraged to report the matter to Police.
