what's up with the ambulances and firetrucks today?

Does anyone know where all the firetrucks, ambulances and police cars were headed at 5:00pm this afternoon? They went screaming west on Victoria Avenue. Hope it wasn't serious but there were 2 firetrucks, 3 ambulances, police cars and rescue wagons - looked like something big.
