Fishing Tackle & Bait

Just wondering where everyone gets their stuff here in Brandon? I haven't ever gone fishing without my Dad and this weekend will be the first time and just wondering where everyone goes and what people suggest to get? Is any tackle store (Fish Hut?) open on Sundays to get this stuff?
