Babysitting!!!

Hey i really dunno how to put this or put it underwhat heading! BUT just wondering what age group kids are supposed to start babysitting!!! I just know of a friend that is a single mother of 3 and her oldest has started babysitting and now she has been told that her daughter is not allowed to babysit from CFS, is it cause she is asingle mother or what cause truely if so that is disrespectful of them to say that to her but anyways i was just curious on what age group etc!!!! thanks no rude comments either!!!!
