Is there anyone in the know if and when we will get these critters?
These are the type that show owners in real time energy consumption and estimated "charges" month to date. Like a gas gauge but in reverse. The one they were testing in Ontario was so accurate that if a appliance like A/c kicked while you were looking at it in you could see what it was using for power and calculate the costs pretty quick! There was other features also but it measured in real time!
They said the houses with these meters used 20 percent less energy after they were installed than before!!
I know they ( Hydro) was talking about it!
