Today my two little shih tzu's went missing:  
 
We have been doing renovations and had people over helping, when I left the house to go pick up supper for everyone they tried to follow me out because the sounds of the saw the guys were using scared them.  
 
My guy closed the door when I brought them back in, but because there was an extension cord in the door they managed to get it open and wander out on us...  
 
My guy noticed and called me when I was on my way home but by then they were already missing. Many thanks to the friendly strangers in the valley view area and Queen Elizabeth Park who helped look for him and for our neighbours, who took time out of their day to drive around and also look, despite the fact we barely even know you.  
 
We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the two lovely ladies who found our pups wandering up princess ave, who upon picking our guys up at a parking lot we, ironically enough, discovered live on our street.  
 
The lovely ladies could have continued driving but took the time to follow my pups for a little while and figure out that they had probably lost their way. On top of that they took them through the tim hortons drive through and supplied them with water and a tim bit.  
 
I just can't express my gratitude enough to you all for helping a sad situation end so happily.
