Looks like in the City of Brandon Master Recreation Master Plan there will be a Water Park that will be built in 2016! They were talking about it at the city council meeting tonight. They showed a concept drawing of it. Not sure of all of the details about it, but looks like it will be more for family use, not just children.  
 
So a water park is in the works for the city.
