I was always taught to respect your elders like many of us do. I hold the doors open and help anyone I think can use a hand. Lately Im not sure Im getting the same respect from them though. In the grocery store I had a old woman hitting me with her cart the other day. I mean there was no way she couldnt notice she was hitting me. I gave a polite look and she glared, so I turned around before I blurted out what was on my mind. Then my wife and I went to a fast food place and were placing our order, I of course hold the door for the two elderly woman that walked in at the same time. she didnt give a thanks or nothing but i didnt mind. I was waiting for my ood and the woman hadnt even placed an order, but she basically pushed me out of the way and said to the woman WHERE IS MY COFFEE. I was shocked at this little woman being so demanding and she hadnt even paid for the thing yet. Lol is this payback for something I may have done in the past. Karma im assuming, or is this a common thing that Ive failed to realize before.
