Help I think my dog was abused?

I got a dog the other day she was used and 10 months old, She is always scared and sometimes peeing a bit when i try to pick her up as if someone has hit her, my other dog is normal with her and is fine, but the question im asking really is will this dog get better or should i sell it , cause i dont really want a abused dog, I know that sounds bad but it getting in the way of Training of my other dog, and really its no fun having a scared dog all the time, it really isnt try it it sucks, im trying everything treats, she sleeps with me should i just leave her alone
