I was just browsing through the pet section....I feel very sad to see so many animals up for giveaway. How can people just give their animals away like that? A responsible pet owner should never take on a dog or a cat unless your home life is stable. If you don't where your going to live from month to month or how long term you can be why would you make the poor animal suffer? I'm not doubting the love or affection and care given to these animals at all. I just love my animals so much I could never give them away. If a situation ever came up, I would have a family member or friend take it for awhile until I could get a home for me and my furry friends. I treat my animals like they're kids. I would love to give animals a good home, but I don't own a home right now and can't offer any stability to a pet. The Humane Society animals 9/10 are animals that are older and given away because noone longer wants them.
