Hi there,  
 
I am wondering about senior's apartment style housing. My parents are aging and I am just getting some info. They live in their own house, but have been talking about how they might need to think about selling their house and moving into an apartment.  
 
I am going to visit some places and talk to them, but if any of you have lived in one, or had relatives in one, and have advice, I would really appreciate it.  
 
Do they have long waiting lists?  
 
Do some of them charge rent according to financial means? If so, what financial info do they look at?  
 
Are there any that you recommend?  
 
Are there any you wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole?  
 
Any other advice?
