Daycares closing for christmas???

Just got a note stating that my daycare will be closed on December 24th (in lue of Easter Monday), 27th (in lue of Christmas day), the 28th (in lue of Boxing day), the 3rd (in lue of New Years Day)
just wondering if this is standard???
