This is a quick traffic video that was posted here on eBrandon last week  
It was taken at 13th Street and Louise

This person took a 3 min video of people blowing through a stop sign, and had a few folks rolling through the the THICK WHITE LINE before the crosswalk.  
 
I am not sure if this is a four way or a two way stop, but more then 1 car in a 3 minute period breaking the law by rolling through a stop sign without coming to a complete stop is out-outrageous.  
 
EDIT: it is not four way stop  
 
Anytime I am on foot I see this all to often.  
 
YOU NEED TO STOP YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE THE SIDEWALK BEGINS WHERE THAT THICK WHITE LINE IS, before the actual stop sign! it was on the drivers test, remember?  
 
 
I love seeing peoples faces when they roll through the stop sign blocking the sidewalk then look up at me all surprised, like I materialized out of no-where. I never-ever assume that people will stop or even see me at a cross walk anymore. And when I see a car approaching, and I am on foot crossing in the middle of the sidewalk, I always scurry across the rest of the way = anticipating that the vehicle will not slow down BEFORE the sidewalk { before the white line and the actual stop sign.}  
 
I don't want to die - I have alot to live for!  
 
I cant believe the volume of what is seemingly mentally capable people WHO PASSED THEIR ROAD TESTS dis-regarding BASIC simple traffic laws.  
 
 
There was a photo I posted a few weeks ago pertinent to this issue. I am glad that whom-ever took this video added it here to eBrandon. Hopefully many people will watch it, discuss it with others and point out that stop signs mean STOP!  
 
Where are the traffic cops?  
 
If 10 people get a ticket for rolling through stop signs, they will tell 10 people that they got a ticket ( actually they will whine and b*itch about it for weeks, like what they are doing is not wrong) and so more awareness will be brought to this issue sadly this seems to be the only way for the masses to become aware of this issue - a financial penalty.  
 
 
 
I have shook my head and yelled at drivers over this more in this city than anywhere else I have been. Why is it such a problem here in this town?  
 
AND..... where is everyone going in such a hurry that no-one else's safety on the road is more important then theirs? It takes less than 20 minutes to get ANYWHERE in this town, so I will surmise that there is not enough enforcement of traffic laws, traffic officers let far to many situations slide, and many drivers have no regards for other drivers or pedestrians.....  
 
I have never really sat anywhere and surveyed this stop sign situation like the individual who took this video. But when I think about every time I have been on foot, as ell as driving, I don't think statistically this video is off-base for a census of what happens at cross-walks, 4 ways and other mergers here in Brandon....  
 
I cannot get past the how and why of the mentality of some people behind the wheel.
