Automotive Transmission Repair Centres

My 2002 Dodge Caravan automatic transmission has been slipping lately. I fear that I may have to go to a repair shop to have this fixed. I need some recommendations on reliable and professional transmission repair shops. Also, can anyone tell me their success or horror stories on using vehicles, especially vans with rebuilt transmissions.
