10th Street Emporium.  
Why does John Lawrence insist on having empty buildings instead of having full, cheaper paying store owners to assist with getting downtown Brandon kickstarted?  
 
The spaces are gorgeous. They are crying for unique shops and a street mall with popcorn carts, park benches and buskers lining the streets.  
 
What a shame. The 10th Street Emporium could be the start on many good things for DT Brandon.  
 
I say just get business going...even at a cut rate for leases or rent.  
 
Just one or two successful spaces lead to 3 or 4 more which then lead to people really wanting to be downtown. It just grows from there.  
 
Everyone I talk to has a vision for an Osborne type setting. It will just take someone to do it and that someonce could be John.  
 
I just don't understand any hold-outs here.
