Your opinion of post fount on other sight

I found this post on another sight, and I was curious to see what people think of this poster’s opinion of Manitoba.
With all the COPP and private policing doing the police work.
This post may be asking, do we still need police?
Should we cut back on the money given to police, since we are saving money by having the COPP and private policing (50 or eighty year olds, doing police work).
So why not give less money to the police, and more to the community.
Have the police become more of a traffic department, answering to private policing interests?
What do you think of the posters thoughts of Manitoba policing?
In Manitoba or for that matter the rest of Canada thick in the head? Never has the public ever seen more political promises in elections as Manitoba politicians are making the public when it comes to numbers of police to quell some kind of crime wave! Every one of the leaders is promising more police from 50 to 100 and now 222 more! Manitoba has the highest per capita police prescence in Canada making it a leader in the concept of a police state.
Criminolgists here do not agree with the politicians wanting to be elected or re-elected, these professionals are telling the public that it is poverty and the economy that directly affects crime levels. Manitoba is a have not province with Canada highest concentration of off reserve aboriginals in the city than in the rest of Canada. Are politicians proposing in any way to harness this resource of aboriginal peoples like they weep and knash teeth over why all Manitoba's non-aboriginal youth are leaving Manitoba? No! But lets have more police to enforce the law concerning all these people without saying who they are or what demographic role they are playing in the economy.
The media of course does not help as they focus on what sells the news and if it is not newsworthy they won't report it so it must be that keeping the aboriginal down, poor and crime ridden is in the media interest so they can report crimes. What a mean and vicious circle in this hypocracy known as Canada! How disgusting can things be!
