I just caught this documentary on Manitoba Moments tonight and my gawd I was touched - it actually brought a tear to my eye. It was about the golden years of baseball and the players that changed the face of ball in Brandon and the reunion and Hall of Fame induction that ensued and was well deserved for 2 players, thanks to Lois Bentley from Brandon. Don Gardner is also featured in this seven year in the making little production.
It airs again next Saturday at 5 pm on Manitoba Moments.
Really worth catching!
