Vehicle theft insanity

Just looking over the BPS releases of the last couple of days. Wow have there ever been a lot of car thefts in the city recently:
STOLEN AND RECOVERED VEHICLE
On June 19, 2007 about 6:30 am police received a report of a stolen Truck from the 300 blk 16th St. The truck belonged to Brandon Heating and Plumbing and was stolen from the rear of the complainant’s home. Yesterday evening the vehicle was reported to have been seen in the area of 26th St and Macdonald Ave. At about 11:00 pm the complainant called to report he found the vehicle at 14th St and Stickney Ave. Police attended to the scene and seized the truck. It appears that some tools from the rear of the truck had been stolen. Still under investigation.
STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED
On June 11, 2007 about 4:30 pm police received a report of a stolen 2007 Toyota Tundra truck from Precision Toyota, 404 18th St N. Yesterday Amaranth RCMP reported they had recovered the truck completely burned.
THEFT OF VEHICLE
On June 18, 2007 about 6:40 am police received a report of the theft of a vehicle from the 200 blk 13th St E. The vehicle a 1981 GMC C1500 was stolen out of the driveway during the night. About 9:30 am police received a call from the Minnedosa RCMP advising they had recovered the vehicle in their area. Still under investigation.
ATTEMPTED THEFT OF VEHICLES
On June 18, 2007 about 7:00 am police received a report of an attempted theft of vehicle from the 300 blk 4th St. The victim reported that sometime overnight his vehicle was entered and the steering column was damaged. Investigation revealed that three vehicles in the area had their windows broken and steering columns damage overnight. No suspects at this time.
STOLEN QUAD
On June 18, 2007 about 5:30 pm police received a report of a stolen Quad from the 700 blk Rosser Ave. The victim reported that the Quad was parked on a trailer in their backyard and was stolen sometime overnight. The Quad is described as a Motobishi chase 500, red in colour.
