last night on our way home from the fireworks ,we were traveling south on first street ,just before we got to the bridge over the river,someone through something at our van and shattered the window on the sliding door.the window exploded when whatever they threw hit the window,we had our two grandkids with us,the youngest is 9 months and he was in his carseat right next to the window that blew out.it sounded like someone had shot out the window,so l did not stop until we got over the bridge,once stopped,we checked to see if anyone was hurt,no one was hurt,but the baby was covered in broken glass,as was the rest of the van.we had forgot our cellphone so another car stopped and called the police.they arrived and found a few people in the area.but could not prove if any of them did it.the police inspected the window and though it may have been a rock or a sharp piece of metal of some kind.the police gave the rest of our family a ride home,and l stayed to fill out the reports.l can't help but wonder what kind of a brainless SOB would do something like this ? like the police said,it could have been a hell of a lot worse than what it was.if l was to have caught the clueless piece of s-t person that did this,that would have been the last rock you threw at anyone.not that the person who did this would have brains enough to read,but if you are reading this,hope you relize how close you came to hurting a couple of very young children !!! thanks very much to the couple who stopped and helped us out..l added a photo of our van in my profile so you can see how close it was..
