Accident at 18th and McTavish

On Monday late at night there was an accident where a driver hit a pedestrian crossing the road. The pedestrian was thrown at least 20 feet. I have only heard this from someone who witnessed the accident, but was thrown for a loop when nothing was reported as a crime report and nothing was posted in any paper. My question is why????? Obviously someone got hurt by being hit by a vehicle and there is nothing to report....seems a little fishy to me, does anyone know anything about this accident??
