Has this ever happened to you?

3)bought a marble bathroom sink, after installation discover a flaw on the surface , repair booked for mid Nov., excuse given repair rescheduled to tentative date in Dec.
4)bought a recliner, after delivery noticed the chair is lopsided and doesn’t open and close properly, exchange arranged for Mon.
5)ordered a replacement backup light cover for an older car, parts person made an inspection of the part needed and when it arrived it was the wrong one
6)bought a brand new power supply for the computer and it over heated thank goodness no damage was done, got a replacement
7)found out our new camcorder had factory defect and had to be sent away for adjustments
8)had our old patio door replaced , new wasn’t installed properly and was replaced and reinstalled
This is in about the last 6 or 7 yrs. I’m sure there’s more but I’ve blocked it out. I am not a complainer these were/are legitimate problems that were dealt with by the companies involved but doesn’t this seem extreme? Either we’re star crossed or there are a lot of businesses out there that do not worry too much about quality control. Yes first of all we could have examined the deliveries I guess but how or why should these items leave the companies in such condition? And really how many of you go over a delivered item with a fine tooth comb? It’s brand new it should be perfect.
